Repeated downloads are kept as separate files with (1), (2), and later suffixes.

How it works

Two clicks after setup.

  1. Install once.Load the Chrome extension and register the signed local companion package.
  2. Open an allowed video.Use Download Everything only for media you are legally permitted to save.
  3. Start, then download.The extension starts the silent helper and displays live size and progress information.

What stays on your computer stays yours.

Data used

When you click Download, the extension reads the active video-page URL and sends it to the Download Everything companion at 127.0.0.1. The companion processes the requested video and audio locally to create the saved file. Your selected quality and download folder are also stored locally.

Data not collected

Download Everything does not collect account credentials, cookies, passwords, full browsing history, payment information, or analytics. It does not use advertising or tracking technology.

Sharing and retention

The developer does not receive, sell, or share your data. The local companion uses the requested URL only to perform the user-initiated download. Settings remain on the device until changed or removed by the user.

Third-party service

The website hosting the selected video receives the ordinary requests required to access that user-requested media. Use is subject to the website's terms and applicable law. The extension does not bypass DRM, private access, memberships, or account restrictions.

Use of information is limited to providing the extension's single user-facing download function. Human access, advertising use, sale, and unrelated transfer are prohibited.

Install the Windows companion.

Download and extract the manual pack. Run 1 - Install Companion.cmd, then use Chrome's Load unpacked button on the extracted folder containing manifest.json.

If the local helper stops responding, use the refresh button beside Download. The extension also includes a Tester in Options to check its local tools and supported-site connectivity.
